What do I do when a document cannot be scanned?

1. Follow these recommendations to scan documents:

   ▪    Check that the document you are scanning is the one selected in the list above.
   ▪    The lighting should not be too low or too bright.
   ▪    The image should be clear and free of shadows.
   ▪    There should be sufficient light to avoid reflections on the document.
   ▪    If required, include an image of your document's cover.
   ▪    Make sure you capture the entire document, that it is centered in the frame on the screen, and that all edges are within the frame.
   ▪    Make sure the document information, ID number, and expiration date are clearly legible.
   ▪    Do not hide, fold, or crop any part of the document.
