How do I register in MiDi? – MIDI SANDBOX

Open the Midi App on your cell phone.
Tap “Register”.
Country of residence
▪    Tap the country of residence field to select yours.
▪    Select your country of residence from the list provided.
Note: Midi currently operates exclusively in (list); more countries will be added soon.
▪    Tap "Continue" to advance with the process.
Phone number
▪    Select your phone prefix.
▪    Enter your phone number in the corresponding field.
▪    Tap "Continue" to advance with the process.
Note: Midi checks the format of the phone number, the “Continue” button will not be activated until you enter a valid number.
Verify phone number
▪ Enter the six (6) digit code that you will receive by SMS.
▪ If you don't receive the code, you can request a new one after 30 seconds.
Note: You can request a max of 4 codes per day.
Activate notifications
▪ Tap “Activate notifications” if you want to receive updates about your income, shipments and requests.
Note: Turn on app notifications for better performance and real-time information.
Enter your address
▪    Tap the address field to add yours.
▪    Enter your full address in the address search box.
▪    Select your address from the results that appear.
▪    Note: If you don't find your address listed, search for it directly on the map.
Note: Be sure to include your house number. If you don't specify it, an error message will appear as a reminder.
▪    (Optional) Add additional details to your address.
Write your first and last names
▪ Please write your full first and last name in the corresponding fields.
▪ Tap "Continue" to advance with the process.
Enter your date of birth
▪ Enter your date of birth in the corresponding field.
▪ Tap "Continue" to advance with the process.
Note: You must be of legal age to complete the registration.
Enter your email address
▪ Enter your email address in the field provided.
▪ Tap "Continue" to advance with the process.
Note: Midi checks for the existence of the email, the “Continue” button will not be activated until you enter a valid email. After adding your email address, you'll receive an email to verify it. It's important to verify it to ensure the security of your account.
Create your pass code
▪ Create your 6-digit pass code.
▪ This pass code will be required to access the app, verify payments, and perform other processes.
Note: After your first login, you can enable biometric authentication, so you don't have to enter your pass code every time you log in.
Confirm your pass code
▪ Re-enter your 6-digit pass code to make sure it matches the one you created.
Note: If you see an error message indicating that the pass codes don't match, verify that you are entering them correctly. If the error persists, return to the previous step and create a new pass code that you will remember.
Verify your identity
▪    Tap "Verify Identity" to begin the process.
▪    Confirm or select your nationality.
▪    Choose a document from the list for verification. The documents available depend on your nationality and country of registration.
▪    Scan your selected ID and make sure it fits in the frame and all four edges are visible. Depending on the document, you may be asked to scan the front and back.
▪    Once scanned, you'll be asked to verify its readability. Tap "My document is legible" to continue.
- Verify that the document photo is clear and fully legible.
▪    Take a selfie to verify that you own the document. This selfie will be linked to your account for security reasons. If your account is recovered, you will be asked to scan your face to verify your identity.
- Make sure you look at the camera, smile, and don't wear accessories that might cover your face.
Note: You can complete verification later, but you won't be able to perform account or card transactions until your identity is verified and your bank account is created.
Fill and sign Form W8-BEN
▪    Enter your tax identification number in the corresponding field.
▪    Tap "Continue" to start the process.
Note: Midi checks the format of the tax identification number; the “Continue” button will not be activated until you enter a valid number.
▪    Verify the information and sign Form W8-Ben. You can zoom in on it by tapping the "Expand" button.
▪    Confirm that you do not pay taxes by checking the box below the form.
▪    Tap "Sign" to proceed with signing the document.
▪    Sign inside the box with your finger and press “Continue.”
▪    Please double-check the form information before submitting it to continue the process. You can zoom in by tapping the "Expand" button.
▪    Tap "Submit" to send the signed and reviewed document and continue with the registration process.
Complete the KYC

- Choose one of the two options.
▪    What is your occupation?
- Indicate your work on the list.
▪    What is the origin of your patrimony?
- Indicate where your patrimony comes from on the list.
▪    What is the size of your patrimony?
- Select the approximate range of your patrimony.
▪    What is the source of your income?
- Choose one of the options from the list.
▪    What is your expected annual income?
- Select the approximate range.
▪    Are you a Politically Exposed Person?
- Indicate whether you, a family member, or a close associate are a PEP.
All done! You'll only have to wait a few minutes to have your bank account ready.
Once you've completed registration, please wait for us to verify your information to create your account. We'll send you a notification and email as soon as we've verified your information and created your bank account.
If there is a problem with verification, you will be notified via a notification and email. You will be asked to rescan your documents or contact support to resolve the verification issue.
